  • ASSET demonstrated content validity with 8 identified skill domains.
  • Significant score differences were found between surgeon experience groups (P < .05).
  • High interrater (r = 0.91) and test-retest (r = 0.79) reliability were observed.

Conclusions:

  • The ASSET is a valid and reliable tool for evaluating diagnostic knee arthroscopic surgery skills in a cadaver model.
  • Further studies are underway to assess its applicability to live surgery and other procedures.
