Relationship between endothelial nitric oxide synthase gene polymorphisms and ischemic stroke: a meta-analysis

- The G894T, 4b/a, and T786C polymorphisms in the eNOS gene are confirmed to be associated with ischemic stroke risk in Asian populations.
- The 4b/a polymorphism may play a contrasting role in ischemic stroke risk between Asian and white populations.
