[Sequence analysis of cisAB06, an ABO blood subtype]

This study characterizes the rare cisAB06 blood subtype, revealing a genetic mutation (G>C at nt526) in the B allele. This genetic variation explains the observed AB blood type and anti-A antibody presence in the individual.
