  • To develop comprehensive minimum competencies in OPP tailored for osteopathic medical students in geriatric medicine.
  • To integrate osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM) into geriatric education.

  • The Delphi technique was adapted, involving osteopathic geriatricians and the Educational Council on Osteopathic Principles (ECOP).
  • Two rounds of surveys and a breakout session were conducted to achieve expert consensus.
  • Competencies were retained if ranked "very important" by at least 80% of participants.
