Comparing hand hygiene measures in a neonatal ICU: a randomized crossover trial

Alcohol hand rub and povidone-iodine hand scrubs are more effective than plain soap for neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) nurses. These superior hand hygiene methods significantly reduce colony-forming units (CFU-C) on hands.
