Incidental colorectal polyps in positron emission tomography

Fluorodeoxy glucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (FDG PET/CT) aids cancer screening by detecting small lesions. This technology incidentally found adenomatous colonic polyps in two patients, confirmed by biopsy.
