Summary

Intense pulsed light (IPL) effectively treats aberrant Mongolian spots (AMS), showing significant improvement in melanocyte reduction. This study confirms IPL as a viable therapeutic option for these persistent pigmented lesions.

  • Histopathological analysis, including skin biopsies, was performed on one patient before, immediately after, and 6 months post-treatment.
