Youth with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) exhibiting self-regulation deficits show greater symptom severity and impairment. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) reduced both OCD symptoms and dysregulation in completers, suggesting tailored interventions may be needed for those with higher dysregulation.
