Cardiac structure and functions in patients with asymptomatic primary hyperparathyroidism

Asymptomatic primary hyperparathyroidism (PHPT) alters cardiac structure and diastolic function, with higher left ventricular mass index and myocardial performance index observed in patients. Elevated serum calcium and parathyroid hormone levels correlate with these cardiovascular changes.
