Bladder Pain Syndrome/Interstitial Cystitis (BPS/IC) ESSIC type 3C shows a local immune response with high urinary antibodies. Urinary immunoglobulin levels may aid in non-invasive diagnosis of this BPS/IC subtype.

- Elevated urinary immunoglobulin concentrations were found solely in BPS/IC ESSIC type 3C patients.

- Urinary immunoglobulin quantification offers a potential non-invasive diagnostic method for BPS/IC ESSIC type 3C.
