Summary

Primary breast angiosarcoma is a rare cancer. This study presents two cases, highlighting the importance of accurate diagnosis and varied treatment approaches for this infrequent breast malignancy.

  • Primary breast sarcomas are rare, comprising less than 0.1% of malignant neoplasms.
  • Angiosarcoma of the breast is an infrequent malignancy requiring careful differential diagnosis.

Observation:

  • Two cases of primary breast angiosarcoma were analyzed.
  • Case 1: A 32-year-old female treated with wide local excision and chemotherapy.
  • Case 2: A 54-year-old female treated with mastectomy, without adjuvant therapy, lost to follow-up.

Findings:

  • Both patients lacked prior breast surgery, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy history.
  • Treatment modalities varied, including surgery and chemotherapy, with differing outcomes.

Implications:

  • Accurate diagnosis is crucial for effective management of breast angiosarcoma.
