A 57-year-old man was diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML), a myeloproliferative disorder, after experiencing reduced exercise tolerance and bone pain. Diagnosis was confirmed by Philadelphia chromosome presence, and treatment with busulfan lowered his white cell count.
