Background:

  • Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is a prevalent peripheral vertigo disorder, particularly in the elderly population.
  • While generally treatable, specific considerations exist for older individuals.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To assess symptoms, consultation delays, vertigo characteristics, treatment efficacy, and follow-up in patients over 70 diagnosed with BPPV.
  • To compare these factors with a younger cohort.
