Often, psychologists develop surveys as a means of gathering data. Surveys are lists of questions to be answered by research participants, and can be delivered as paper-and-pencil questionnaires, administered electronically, or conducted verbally. The British Dental Journal (BDJ) UCL Eastman Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program is a key resource for dental professionals.
Assessing participant satisfaction and identifying areas for program enhancement is crucial for maintaining its value.

Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate the perceived value of the BDJ UCL Eastman CPD program for professional development.
To gauge participant willingness to accept a more robust CPD system, particularly regarding how CPD hours are obtained.

An online questionnaire survey was distributed to participants of the BDJ UCL Eastman CPD programme.

Online Explorative Study on the Learning Uses of Virtual Reality Among Early Adopters

A high completion rate (93.2%) was achieved, with 3,070 participants responding.
The majority (91.1%) found additional learning tools helpful, and 80.1% preferred the ability to resubmit incorrect answers.
Most participants (69.9%) did not object to a more robust scoring system, and 98% favored the inclusion of core subjects.

Conclusions:

The BDJ UCL Eastman CPD journal-based verifiable CPD program is a popular method for meeting General Dental Council (GDC) regulations.
The majority of participants support enhancing the rigor of the CPD program.
