Summary

Lymphatic edema causes significant physical and psychological distress. Integrated management combining physiotherapy within rehabilitation services offers a promising approach for patients with this chronic condition.

Background:

Lymphatic edema is a chronic condition affecting extremities, breasts, and other body parts.
It leads to decreased flexibility, limited range of motion, fatigue, and psychological stress.
Impaired mobility and edematous skin changes are common symptoms.

Observation:

Four case studies on lymphatic edema management were presented.
The studies focused on integrated rehabilitation services.
Physiotherapy was a key component of the combined treatment approach.

Findings:

Integrated management demonstrates a combined approach to treating lymphatic edema.
Physiotherapy plays a crucial role in the rehabilitation of patients with lymphatic edema.
