Fluoride dentifrice containing xylitol: in vitro root caries formation

Fluoride and xylitol dentifrices significantly reduced in vitro root caries formation compared to no treatment or xylitol-only toothpaste. Both fluoride-containing options, Aquafresh Advanced and Diamynt, showed comparable effectiveness in preventing root caries.
