Background:

The Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE) program utilizes a benchmarking service for member sites.
This service allows evaluation of staff perceptions of the care environment against other NICHE sites.
The NICHE Database contains over 100,000 Geriatric Institutional Assessment Profile surveys.

Purpose of the Study:

To determine how secondary analyses of the NICHE Database can inform effective geriatric programming in hospitals.
To investigate the influence of nurse demographics on perceptions of organizational alignment with NICHE principles.

Secondary analysis of the NICHE Database, comprising over 100,000 Geriatric Institutional Assessment Profile surveys.
