Background:

Pseudoxanthoma elasticum (PXE) is a rare genetic disorder affecting elastic tissues.
It can manifest with various systemic complications, including cardiovascular and gastrointestinal issues.

Observation:

A 31-year-old male presented with anterior myocardial infarction.
He had a significant history of recurrent, obscure gastrointestinal bleeding since childhood.
Peripheral vascular disease was also noted.

Findings:

Clinical diagnosis of type 1 dominant pseudoxanthoma elasticum was suspected.
Histological examination of skin biopsy provided supporting evidence for the diagnosis.
