[The systematic occurrence of ethical dilemmas]

The knowledge explosion, new technologies, and new social legislation have challenged the ethical values of health professionals. This has resulted in conflicting values among nurses, other professionals and patients. The author looks at three sources of conflict: collaboration, organization of care, and service, and reflects on potential solutions.
