[Effect of smoking on hemostasis and hemorheology in pregnancy]

We found in normal and pathologic pregnant women who were discordant for smoking impaired haemostaseological and haemorheological parameters. Cigarette smoking provokes an increase of thrombocytes, a hyperfibrinolysis, a haemoconcentration and a decreased deformability of erythrocytes.
