  • Thirty-three patients received osteochondral scaffolds; 23 patients previously treated with chondral scaffolds served as a comparison group.
  • Complex cases were defined by specific criteria including fracture history, lesion location, and concurrent procedures.

    • Significant improvements in IKDC subjective scores were observed post-operatively for both groups.
    • Osteochondral scaffold group showed better subjective IKDC scores at final follow-up compared to the chondral scaffold group (p=0.034).

    Conclusions:
