Parastomal hernia is a common complication following enterostomy.
Traditional transabdominal mesh repair may be challenging in patients with prior surgeries or adhesions.
The components separation method is an alternative for ventral hernia repair in difficult cases.

Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate the efficacy of the components separation method for parastomal hernia repair.
To present a case of parastomal hernia repair using the components separation method in a patient with a history of multiple abdominal surgeries.

Main Methods:

A case report detailing the repair of a recurrent parastomal hernia using the components separation method.
The patient had a history of total cystectomy with ileal conduit and midline incisional hernia repair with mesh.
