This study found that Yo-Yo intermittent recovery tests (IR1 and IR2) strongly correlate with repeated sprint ability (RSA) and maximal sprint speeds in soccer players. These findings suggest a combined Yo-Yo and RSA test can efficiently assess soccer players' intermittent exercise capacity.
