Cognition in early relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis: consequences may be relative to working memory

In early multiple sclerosis (MS), processing speed deficits do not mediate cognitive issues. However, working memory impairment plays a key mediating role in early relapsing-remitting MS patients.
