Sodium hypochlorite with reduced surface tension does not improve in situ pulp tissue dissolution

Adding wetting agents to sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) solutions does not improve necrotic tissue dissolution in oval root canals. The effectiveness of NaOCl in dissolving pulp tissue is consistent regardless of surface tension, especially near the root apex.
