Cannabinoids decrease the th17 inflammatory autoimmune phenotype

Cannabinoids like CBD and THC reduce inflammatory Th17 cells and IL-17 cytokine production. These cannabis compounds also boost anti-inflammatory IL-10, offering a unique way to modulate autoimmune responses.

- The findings suggest a novel therapeutic potential for cannabinoids in autoimmune diseases by rebalancing the immune response.
