Abstract:
We present an up-dating of the problem of naso-paranasal infection by different types of aspergillus fungi, attempting to establish clearly the various nosological entities produced by this infectious agent. The principal focus of this paper is the typical presentation of the pseudotumoral form of invasion, or aspergilloma of the ethmoid sinus, in which we studied the following: the vicissitudes involved in diagnosis, the clinical picture and the therapeutic possibilities.
