Summary

A novel Single Incision Laparo-Endoscopic Surgery (SILS) port approach enables minimally invasive removal of challenging rectal foreign bodies. This technique offers excellent visualization and reduces morbidity compared to traditional methods.

  • A Single Incision Laparo-Endoscopic Surgery (SILS) port was inserted transanally for retrieval.

Findings:

  • The SILS port facilitated rectal insufflation and visualization with a laparoscope.
