[Submucosal Tissucol injections in recurrent epistaxis]

For two years we have used submucosal Tissucol injections for the treatment of severe recurrent epistaxis in twelve patients. The result was positive for all our patients, as the bleeding ceased completely for several months. Until now, 44 injections have resulted in no side effects. Nevertheless, a few side effects have been mentioned in the literature. For this reason the treatment should be restricted to severe recurrent epistaxis.
