Comparative study of phacoemulsification-subscleral trabeculectomy versus phacoemulsification-deep sclerectomy

Summary

Phacoemulsification combined with either subscleral trabeculectomy or deep sclerectomy showed similar outcomes for open-angle glaucoma patients. Both procedures effectively lowered intraocular pressure with comparable visual results and complication rates.
