MALAT-1 interacts with hnRNP C in cell cycle regulation

The MALAT-1 gene transcript moves to the cytoplasm during the G2/M cell cycle phase, interacting with hnRNP C protein. Down-regulating MALAT-1 disrupts this translocation, causing cell cycle arrest.
