Purpose of the Study:

  • To develop, introduce, and evaluate a QII for improving DAA medicine supply.
  • To assess the potential of the QII to reduce dispensing errors in DAAs.
  • To enhance medication safety in NHs through improved DAA management.

  • A QII was developed using focus group findings from 13 participants involved with DAAs.
  • The intervention was implemented in 14 Victorian community pharmacies and 45 NHs.
  • A pharmacist-facilitated education session was delivered, with attendees completing evaluation questionnaires.
