Summary

A French bulldog with a facial swelling was diagnosed with a branchial cleft cyst. Surgical excision using a CO2 laser successfully treated the cyst, leading to full recovery.

  • The cyst was consistent with a Type II first branchial cleft cyst based on location, size, and tissue type.
  • Complete surgical excision of the cyst was performed using a CO2 laser.
