Abstract:
During routine abdominal dissection a trifurcated common hepatic artery along with large gastroduodenal artery and very short hepatic artery proper were found. An extra artery arose as a branch of right gastric artery and entered into the porta hepatis. Angiography showed that the extra artery had an intrahepatic communication with left hepatic artery and both supplied left lobe of liver.
