Summary

Guided self-help using dialectical behaviour therapy (DBTgsh) significantly reduced binge eating episodes and increased abstinence rates for binge eating disorder (BED). Improvements in quality of life and reduced eating disorder psychopathology were maintained at six-month follow-up.
