Abstract:
Voltammetric analysis at platinum and gold rotating disc electrode (RDE) in 0.1 mol l(-1) sulphuric acid has been applied for the determination of the active ingredient in solid dosage form. Non zero intercept in the limiting current versus concentration plot was proportionally good to excellent for the solid dosage form and is free from interference from adsorption on the electrodes. All of the dosage forms proved amenable to rapid voltammetric determination with a means standard deviation of 1.2.
