Modic degenerative marrow changes in the thoracic spine : a single center experience

Modic changes (MCs) are rare in the thoracic spine, with type II predominating. However, thoracic disc herniations (DHs) are strongly associated with MCs, suggesting a link despite lower spinal mobility.
