Abstract:
Injection of indigo carmine dye mixed with air into the amniotic sac under ultrasound guidance during genetic amniocentesis on twins is described. This technique can reliably detect monoamniotic twins and clearly differentiate diamniotic twins, thereby facilitating accurate needle insertion into the second sac during amniocentesis.
