Summary

Hand-assisted retroperitoneoscopic donor nephrectomy (HARP) offers similar donor quality of life to laparoscopic donor nephrectomy (LDN) but with shorter operation times. HARP is a safe and effective alternative for left-sided donor nephrectomies.
