Abstract:
Mutagenic activity of the psychotropid drug--majeptil was studied. Majeptil does not induce gene mutations on Salmonella typhimurium and chromosomal aberrations in mice bone marrow cells in vivo. It is shown that majeptil increase the level of chromosome aberrations in the culture of human peripheral blood lymphocytes. It is also active in the dominant lethal test on mice.
