Genetic variations in ADAM33 may explain the link between asthma and unique palm lines. This study analyzed 13 ADAM33 single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in asthma patients and controls, identifying specific SNPs associated with both asthma and distinct palm patterns.
