Transanal endoscopic operation (TEO) offers a minimally invasive approach for rectal lesions, demonstrating effectiveness for benign and early-stage malignant tumors with low morbidity. This technique allows complete excision of benign lesions and provides a viable option for selected early-stage rectal cancers.
