Speech quality estimation of voice over internet protocol codec using a packet loss impairment model

This study introduces a new model to predict speech quality loss from packet loss concealment (PLC) in SILK speech CODECs. The model accurately estimates degradation, correlating highly with human listening tests for improved voice communication quality.
