Background:

• Vancomycin is the standard treatment for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections.
• Daptomycin is approved for MRSA bacteremia, but its efficacy in osteoarticular infections (OAIs) remains unestablished.

Purpose of the Study:

• To compare the clinical outcomes and drug toxicity of daptomycin versus vancomycin in adult patients with MRSA OAIs.
• To evaluate daptomycin as an alternative treatment for MRSA OAIs.
