To discuss the fundamental application of scripting within the RayStation TPS.
To explore programming methods and considerations for basic scripting.
To demonstrate script development using IronPython on the RayStation 3.0 platform.

Summary:

This research investigated scripting capabilities in RayStation 3.0 using utility scripts and IronPython.
Key patient object properties and functions were identified for script development.
NET controls enabled scripting for interactive parameter input, treatment planning control, and plan extraction.
