Abstract:
The Gram stain is an important diagnostic examination for infectious disease. It classifies four patterns of morphology. In particular, a sputum Gram stain can identify infectious organisms and adequate antimicrobial therapy. We also observe fibrin and polynuclear leucocytes in specimens under a microscope to help diagnosis and therapy.
