[Demonstration of polysaccharides by silver impregnation (2)]

To demonstrate carbohydrate-containing tissue elements becoming argyrophil by treatment with chromic acid and periodic acid respectively, the author proposes instead of the methenamine-silver nitrate solution the successive application of a silver nitrate solution, adjustable to the optimal pH, and of a physical developer.
