Summary

We introduce a Bayesian approach for combined linkage and linkage disequilibrium (LD) analysis (LDLA) using single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) data. This method enhances the detection of quantitative trait loci (QTL) by integrating pedigree and population-level genetic information.
