Serum zinc and copper in hyperlipoproteinemia
This study found that while hyperlipoproteinemia (HLP) patients did not show altered serum zinc levels, those with atherosclerosis had lower zinc. The zinc to copper ratio was lower in HLP patients with cardiovascular disease.
