Stability of poly(A)(+)RNA in nucleate and anucleate cells of Acetabularia
1Max-Planck-Institut für Zellbiologie, 6802, Ladenburg bei Heidelberg.
Abstract:
The stability of poly(A)(+)RNA was compared in nucleate and anucleate cells of Acetabularia. While in the absence of the nucleus poly(A)(+)RNA exhibits a pronounced stability, it is significantly less stable in the presence of the nucleus.
